Quality Manager
CK Tech is currently seeking a Sr. Quality Engineer that is comfortable within a fast paced environment.
CK Technologies is supplier of high quality injection molded, chrome plated, painted and assembled parts to the Commercial Truck and Bus Industry.
We are a triple bottom line company which means we are committed to balance and support people, the planet as well as profit. We are looking for a Sr. Quality Engineer to lead our quality team in our paint and assembly facility. A strong background in lab testing to automotive/truck requirements is preferred.
Our exciting company is experiencing growth and we are looking to add strong talent to team. This position will be located in our Mount Airy, NC location.
General
Responsibilities:
The candidate will understand TS16949 requirements and possess excellent communication and organizational skills.
Must be team oriented with the initiative to work on the shop floor and lead improvement actions related to quality.
Strong problem solving abilities and attention to detail, team oriented, internal auditing experience, strong knowledge of continuous improvement concepts.
This person will lead the plant team responsible to; implement Quality Control Plans for new and existing products, audit and improve our systems to TS16949 requirements and interface with customers and suppliers on quality related issues.
Minimum Education, Experience and Core Competency Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in a technical field with a minimum of 4 years' experience in the Technical background in Paint / Chemistry automotive quality fields preferred
Experience managing / performing lab testing to automotive specifications.
Familiar with TS 16949 and automotive/truck requirements
Supervisory / Managerial leadership experience
Team Oriented
. Working knowledge of AIAG standards including; PPAP, Gage R&R, MSA, PFMEA, APQP and GD&T is a plus.
