Regional Hospital, is recruiting a Board Certified (or new graduate that is Board Eligible), General Surgeon to join our current practice. Our practice is looking for a physician to join our group who will be ready to continue to expand the already stellar patient base and reputation while building a solid career as a member of our team. Call rotation will be 1:
3 for a week at a time. Operating Room time is done in scheduled blocks, 4 days a week. A dedicated Anesthesia On-Call team is available for all emergency after-hours cases. This opportunity offers competitive compensation with a base salary plus incentive bonus. This Hospital is one of largest employers in Mount Airy. The hospital has 133 beds and offers a state-of-the-art Surgery Center with integrated digital operating rooms, caring surgeons and anesthesia team, Obstetrics and Gynecology unit with Level I Nursery and C-section suite on the unit, a Skilled Nursing Facility, full service Hospitalist program, and Emergency Department with 36,000 visits annually.
We are located approximately 1.5 hours from Charlotte, 2.5 hours from Raleigh, and 1 hour from Greensboro. Winston-Salem is a short 30 minute drive away for more exclusive shopping and dining experiences. Population in Mount Airy is around 10,000. Surry County has just over 72,000 citizens and the primary service area, which includes southern Virginia, is 80,000+.
